Administration
Meet Elyse Daly - Principal/Campus Behavior Coordinator

Welcome to Andrews Elementary, the proud home of the Eagles!
At Andrews Elementary, we foster a vibrant community of teachers, students, and families all united by a shared belief in our collective potential for excellence. Each day, we strive not only for academic and personal achievements but also to ensure that our students leave Andrews equipped to make the world a better place. Our dedicated staff embodies the Plano ISD vision, committing to excellence through our heartfelt care and passion for learning.
Before joining Andrews Elementary as principal, I had the privilege of teaching 3rd and 5th grades at Barksdale Elementary, where I also served as a team leader. My journey in administration began at Barksdale as an assistant principal, and I further expanded my experience as an assistant principal at Stinson Elementary. My husband and I are parents to two wonderful children, Logan and Maeve, who bring immense joy to our lives and influence my approach to leadership and decision-making.
My goal is to create an environment at Andrews where students, staff, and families feel welcomed, valued, and inspired to reach their full potential. I am eager to meet you and continue strengthening our supportive Andrews community. If you haven't yet, I encourage you to join our PTA and sign up for email updates through Skyward Family Access. Together, as partners in education, we can provide the best support for our students. Here’s to a fantastic school year ahead!

Beyond my role as an Assistant Principal, I have a supporting family. My husband and I have been married for 28 years and we have two kids. My daughter is 21 years old and my son is in 12th grade.
I have been with Plano ISD for 28 years. I started my career with the district as a Special Education Teacher/Team Leader and served in this role for 10 years. I also was a Counselor in Plano for 10 years and have been an AP for the last 6 years in Plano.I was also a para- professional for 2 years. I attended the University of Texas at Dallas where I received my Bachelors Degree. I also hold a Masters in School Counseling and a Masters in Educational Leadership.
As we begin this new academic year, I look forward to building new relationships within our school community. Collaboration and open communication are key to our shared success, and I am committed to fostering an environment where every student, family, and staff member feels valued and supported.
I encourage you to reach out to me with any questions, concerns, or ideas you may have. Together, we can ensure that Andrews Elementary continues to be a place where students thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
Thank you for entrusting us with your children's education. I am excited and honored to continue our journey together as we strive for excellence and create meaningful experiences for every student at Andrews Elementary.
